About us
The Costa Brava Divers is a diving school located in front of the harbour of L`Estartit on the Costa Brava that offers everything from underwater baptisms, for those without any diving experience, to courses such as the Open Water diver with the official PADI certificate. Enjoy with us some unforgettable dives on the Medas Islands.
The underwater baptism will introduce you to the exciting world of diving in an easy, enjoyable and safe way, always having our international guides and instructors of the diving school by your side. After this first contact with the underwater world, the Open Water Diver course offers a training that allows you to independently dive in a safe manner. Once qualified with the diving certificate you should decide to bring your diving skills to perfection or expand them, the Costa Brava Divers provides various additional courses that will make you a professional, including special trainings.
At the Costa Brava Divers there is a room available where diving courses can be arranged. You can also profit from a shop offering diving equipment both for sale and for rent, facilities to store the equipment, and a free equipment transport service to the ship that is some 2 minutes walk away from the diving center. Additionally, there is the possibility to rent the necessary diving equipment as well as to use Nitrox in order to have an exciting dive on the Medas Islands.
Our boats
The diving center and the diving school Costa Brava Divers have two boats at your disposal (EL CAP DE CREUS and La FITÓ) situated in the port of L'Estartit, a 2 minutes walk away - both are designed specifically for diving.
The CAP DE CREUS is a boat with 12.5 meter lengths and can transport up to 40 persons (ship crew included). Enjoy your short ride to the Medas Islands respectively to the diving spots near the coast on this lovely vessel. It is equipped with two engines of 350 HP each, VHF, oxygen rescue sets, first-aid kits, zodiac rescue boats, as well as shower and toilet.
The FITÓ is an 8.5 meter zodiac boat that can transport up to 12 persons. It is specially used for diving trips to different diving sites.
