Requeriments
Success in diving is based on the thorough investigations of the effects for the human body. All the big associations for diving instruction such as PADI, CMAS, CEDIP, and PSI have developed standards in order to increase safety and minimize possible risks.
Before starting an Open Water Diver course, you have to present a medical certificate in order to confirm a healthy respiratory and cardiovascular system. Additionally, an auricular check up and a diabetes test have to be made.
All diving schools have to meet these standards. Without a medical certificate the course cannot be attended.
During all your courses and diving holidays you will need this medical certificate. In any diving center in the world they will ask you for the medical certificate that must not be older than 2 years. From the age of 40 this certificate has to be issued every year.
You can get the medical certificate in medical centers or hyperbaric centers.
